London Jewellery Week kicks off today and is set to be a real treat for fans of bling with an exciting, jam-packed schedule of events and activities. Running until June 13, the week is marked by four cornerstone events:

The Goldsmiths' Hall will play host to not only the week's launch party but also to the Day of Knowledge - where renowned jewellers, including Shaun Leane and Leo DeVroomen, will share their wisdom. Treasure - a one-of-a-kind exhibition sale to be held at Victoria House on Kingsway -

Meanwhile, Hatton Garden Festival will host a family-friendly street festival on Saturday June 12, featuring open-workshops, manufacturing demonstrations, collection launches, activities for kids and opportunities to learn about diamonds, stones, jewellery

and the history of the area. Lastly, the Green Street Jewellers' Association, which is based in the heart of East London, represents the traditional centre for London's Asian jewellery trade and will host a series of activities.

Spy All the Vampy Style!

From Grecian gowns to edgy minis to frilly frocks, the fashion at the Eclipse L.A. premiere was all over the place.

White Trash Beautiful

"WE wanted to make something for strong, empowered women who are in touch with their soft, sensitive sides and who are comfortable with their femininity - who can also kick ass," said Nikki Lund when we met her and Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora at the Sanderson for a look at their new collection, White Trash Beautiful.

The clothes are exactly what you would expect the lead guitarist of one of the world's most famous rock 'n' roll bands to want women to wear: seductively revealing, often spray-on and always dramatic. Fabrics are leather, suede, silk, stretchy snake print and lots of elastane, while detailing focuses on zips - there's even a zip-crotch leotard.

Lund - who once interned for Anna Sui and Jill Stuart in New York - learned her cutting sewing skills from her mother who was, she says, "a seamstress out of necessity; she didn't have a lot of money but she wanted to have nice things."

Lund and Sambora were introduced by a mutual friend after the musician decided that a song that he had been writing for the band sounded too misogynistic - but it did sound like a good name for a fashion brand. "Three days later," he tells us, "Nikki turned up with some incredible fabrics that I'd never seen before and we just started jamming."

But this is no ordinary celebrity collaboration, insists Sambora. "We didn't want it to be JLo's perfume or Beyoncé's Cologne - this is a clothing line. It's serious and, ultimately, we will do a men's line - I already some of the WTB pieces on stage and we've made a jacket for Jon [Bon Jovi]."

Who else would they like to dress? "Jennifer Anniston, definitely, she'd look amazing in the clothes," enthuses Lund. "And Salma Hayek, she's really sexy." Sambora has other ideas: he names Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie as his ideal clientele. "Megan has a really fantastic, feisty attitude that would work really well with the collection."

Meanwhile, Lund's advice for dressing stylishly is deceptively simple: "Wear what you can get away with. But you've got to rock it. Be confident." Sambora's is more straight forward: "I like women in tight jeans, tight Capri pants or short skirts with great stockings." Sounds like the ultimate WTB girl.

Kate Moss' New Dresses

JUST as our bank balances were recovering from the last Kate Moss Topshop collection, the store announces another Moss offering. The store has revealed the launch of eight new exclusive Kate Moss pieces that are set to complete our summer wardrobe.

As is traditionally the way with Kate's collections, the new summer dresses are vintage inspired and, reflect the model's eclectic bohemian take on dressing. From floor length embellished evening dresses to Seventies style, butterfly printed mini's, Kate's new dresses are at the top of our lust lists.

Katy Perry Has Herself in Stitches

When you're about to marry a no-holds-barred comedian, you expect to find yourself in stitches every once in a while. But this can't be what Katy Perry had in mind.

The spelling-averse "California Gurls" songbird received 17 stitches to her right leg this week after suffering a mysterious yet no doubt very painful injury. So what happened?

Let's just say, she should've heeded Gloria Estefan's warning.

The rhythm got her.

"17 stitches later…Don't make fun of my dance moves tomorrow," she tweeted yesterday. "That's what got me here in the 1st place! Thanks for the souvenir Canada :)!"

There are no details on what, exactly, went down, though the intermittently reliable Daily Mail seems bent on their theory that Perry took a tumble during a particularly jubilant dance session at a Toronto nightclub Sunday night, shortly after her performance at the MuchMusic Awards.

Whatever the case, Perry the trooper didn't back out of any appearances and yesterday performed on the Canadian TV show Live @ Much while sporting a brand new accessory: a surgical stocking on her leg.

"Thinking about getting a candy cane walker made up for this performance coming up," she tweeted. "I will be expecting YOU to dance for me, okay?! Oy vey…"
